Pole Buildings are an inexpensive alternative to building a traditional block foundation stud wall garage. Introduced into the residential market several years ago, pole buildings have been in the agricultural part of life since the days of old and barn raising. Pole Buildings use treated posts supported by a concrete footer in the ground below the frost line as the structure of the entire project. Kickboards, Girts, Headers, and Trusses all attach to the posts. The siding and roof attach to these. | |
